Amanda Hughes My family and I had a really wonderful day at your Games last year. Unfortunately we will not be able to make it to the Highlands this summer but I would just like to wish everybody involved with your Games every success because there can be no doubt that you deserve it. We especially enjoyed walking down the River Ness to the Games field, visiting the brilliant traditional music tent and meeting the members of the various Clan Societies in the beer tent. Since we came home we have been telling everybody that Inverness is a really beautiful city and so are the people that are lucky enough to live there. Best wishes Amanda,Peter,Cameron and James The Burton Family

We are really looking forward to attending this year. Our first trip was in 2006 and it was quite literally the trip of a life time. We spent almost 2 weeks in and around Inverness and I'm looking forward to traveling to the places I enjoyed the last time and exploring new areas. I was especially impressed with the games and how well run they were. As an athlete I was treated so well it will be a special memory I will keep forever. I am looking forward to bringing the whole family this time.

Greetings from Tokyo and the Japan Scotland Highland Games Committee. We are delighted that a previous winner at our Games, Kengo Kubota, will be attending your Games this year. Our Games are being held on Sunday 4th October 2009 so if anyone is thinking of being in the Tokyo area at that time, come along and join in the fun. This will be our 27th Highland Games in Japan! Gambatte! Kengo san!

Saw the games last year for the first time with my son, and what a suprice. It was a very good expirience. My son couldn't belive that woemen was able to throw a havy weight 17 feet up in the air. We will never forget the Scots kindness and hospitality . This year we'll come back to enjoy the games once more, and to see your magnificent country .
