Armed Forces Day is an annual opportunity for our city and indeed the whole nation to show our support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community Past, Present & Future.
The 2011 Armed Forces Day celebrations in Inverness will be one of the highlights of our Summer Festival and will feature a parade through the heart of the Highland Capital at 14:00 hrs to the world famous Inverness Highland Games at Northern Meeting Park.
Following a spectacular ceremony at 14:30 hrs to enable our Games Chieftain Provost Jimmy Gray to officially welcome the Veterans and their families to Inverness; you will be able to enjoy a whole range of Military Displays and Highland Games attractions before witnessing our Final Parade which will feature a Drumhead Ceremony and the presentation of Veteran's Badges
